Booking terms

The short version of how booking with us works. These terms apply to direct bookings made on ourhotels.is at any of our four properties, operated by Ourhotels ehf., Iceland.

Prices and payment

All bookings are charged in euros (EUR) at the moment of booking; prices shown in other currencies are approximate conversions for convenience. Payment is processed by Stripe — card details never touch our servers. Taxes and fees are included in the price shown; there is nothing to pay at check-in. Breakfast is included with every stay.

Cancellation

Standard rates are non-refundable — that is how we keep them low. At checkout you can add a Refundable rate instead: cancel free until the day before check-in and the room cost is refunded in full. The refundable-rate upgrade fee itself is non-refundable. To cancel, reply to your confirmation email or call us.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 15:00 with self check-in around the clock (see how self check-in works); check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out can be added at checkout when available.

House rules

No smoking anywhere in the buildings. Quiet hours are 22:00–08:00. Pets vary by hotel — check the hotel’s page or call us. Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear.

Coupons and discounts

Discount codes apply to the room total only (not extras) and cannot be exchanged for cash. The winter long-stay discount applies automatically to qualifying direct bookings of 7+ nights arriving between 1 November and 31 March.
